The New Moon

The biblical New Moon. When the moon is dark.

The New Moon is a celebration of the New Month for the Israelites. This day is to be observed with joy, gladness and feasting(feast day). The New Moon is a Sabbath and we are forbidden to work, buy and/or sell, however during the New Moon we are allowed to cook as it is a feast day. The New Moon is also a Holy convocation(gathering)so if at all possible gather with other likeminded Israelites in your area. In all things remember that these days are commanded by THE MOST HIGH and they are NOT optional.

NOTE: WE UNDERSTAND THAT SOME OF OUR PEOPLE MAY HAVE TO WORK ON THESE DAYS DUE TO OUR PRESENT CAPTIVITY, HOWEVER YOU SHOULD ALWAYS TRY TO GET THESE DAYS OFF AND IF YOU CAN'T PRAY TO THE FATHER FOR FORGIVENESS AND CONTINUE TO SEEK EMPLOYMENT THAT MAY BE MORE CONSIDERATE TO YOUR BELIEFS. We also can send a letter to your Employer to request an exception.

" Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. ~LEVITICUS 23:2

" Also in the day of your gladnesse, and in your solemne dayes, and in the beginnings of your monethes, ye shall blow with the trumpets ouer your burnt offerings, and ouer the sacrifices of your peace offerings, that they may bee to you for a memoriall before your God: I am the Lord your God." ~Numbers 10:10

"He made the Moone also to serue in her season, for a declaration of times, and a signe of the world.

7 From the Moone is the signe of Feasts, a light that decreaseth in her perfection.

8 The moneth is called after her name, encreasing wonderfully in her changing, being an instrument of the armies aboue, shining in the firmament of heauen," Sirach 43:6 (Apocrypha)

"And it shall come to passe, that from one new Moone to an other, and from one Sabbath to an other, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord." Isaiah 66:23

"Blow vp the trumpet in the new Moone: in the time appointed on our solemne feast day." Psalms 81:3
