THE "MEMORIAL BLOWING OF TRUMPETS"  ALSO KNOWN AS "THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS" OR "ROSH HASHANAH" IS A NEW MOON HIGH HOLY DAY OF SORTS. THE NEW MOON IS A MONTHLY SABBATH HOWEVER IN THIS PARTICULAR NEW MOON IT IS TREATED AS THE PREMIER NEW MOON FEAST.  IT IS OBSERVED IN THE FIRST DAY OF THE 7TH MONTH(TISHRI) OF THE  HEBREW CALENDAR.

YOU CAN READ THE COMMAND TO OBSERVE THE MEMORIAL BLOWING OF TRUMPETS IN LEVITICUS 23:24-25

 "Speake vnto the children of Israel, saying, In the seuenth moneth, in the first day of the moneth shall yee haue a Sabbath, a memoriall of blowing of trumpets, an holy conuocation.

25 Ye shall do no seruile worke therein; but ye shall offer an offering made by fire vnto the Lord."

 AS IT IS WRITTEN THERE SHALL BE NO SERVILE WORK THEREIN, BUYING AND SELLING IS ALSO PROHIBITED.

THIS HOLY DAY KNOWN AS MEMORIAL BLOWING OF TRUMPETS WILL NOT BE COMPLETE OF COURSE WITHOUT A TRUMPET. YOU CAN PURCHASE SHOFARS OR RAMS HORNS ONLINE OR IN ETHNIC SHOPS.

"Also in the day of your gladnesse, and in your solemne dayes, and in the beginnings of your monethes, ye shall blow with the trumpets ouer your burnt offerings, and ouer the sacrifices of your peace offerings, that they may bee to you for a memoriall before your God: I am the Lord your God."  ~NUMBERS 10:10

"Blow vp the trumpet in the new Moone: in the time appointed on our solemne feast day." PSLAMS 81:3

• with joy and gladness

• feasting

• convocation

• blowing the trumpet to signify the new month

• no working

• no buying

• no selling

also please know that if the Memorial blowing of trumpets or any holy day save the Passover falls on the 7th day sabbath the holy sabbath will supersede that new moon or holy day. You can still feast and convocate just no cooking as commanded on the  holy sabbath.
